The Vernal Leaves Garden
The Vernal Leaves garden is a special place full of diverse ornamentals surrounding a wooden gazebo where one can easily retreat from either too much sun or rain. The garden has over 100 hundred different species of plants creating a special micro-ecosystem within the property. Visiting animals in the garden has been great considering the garden’s urban location. There is always something special blooming or happening at the Vernal Leaves garden!
GARDEN RULES
- Garden is a shared space, utilized by all house tenants
- Please don’t throw cigarette butts on the floor, use ashtrays.
- Please refrain from picking flowers (they’re for all our enjoyment)
- Please stay on the paths
- Please do NOT prune or alter the garden
- Please turn off all Gazebo lights when calling it a night
- Please do NOT attempt to start a bonfire without permission or supervision
- Please refrain from extreme noises after 11 P.M.
- If you do choose to compost, only greens, coffee grounds and egg shells.
- NO cooked foods, fats, seeds, meats, or dairy products in compost
- NO plastic or non-organic waste in compost
- Please do NOT harm the bees
- Pay no mind to visiting vagabond cats
